Thanks for dropping round. One of the issues I’ve been looking at over the lifetime of PatientTalk.Org is that of healthcare reform. In particular the whole issue of Obamacare and its impact on US politics. Indeed there has always been some scepticism about Obamacare as you can see from the results of this poll.

So we thought it would be useful to see if what you our readers think about the impact of Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. So what do you think? Please do take part in our poll and share any further thoughts you have in the comments section below.

Should the Government be the main provider of healthcare?

State Healthcare?

As many of you will know there is a general election coming up in the UK in a couple of months. The National Health Service is one of the major issues of the campaign. Though for the life of me I can’t see the difference between any of the parties. None of them seem to have any clear idea of delivering health.

In the US healthcare reform has been a major issue. Just look at Obamacare.

So I found myself wondering if government really was the best agency to be providing (or even involved) in healthcare?
