One of my most infuriating symptoms of multiple sclerosis is the mix of sensations that make it feel hot which makes me dizzy and when I wish it was cooler, I get pain too!
So it’s a toss up between two extremes, shall I be hot and dizzy or shall I be cold and in pain.
If I’m lucky, I’ll get them all at the same time!
Many of the sensation symptoms are due to nerve damage in your CNS (central nervous system) which (in my case) are misinterpretations of the signals that my body is sending to my brain
because of the damage caused by the myelin being eaten away by my immune system, or the swelling which interrupts signals or a combination of both, what feels like a cool breeze can actually feel warm or looking up sends the vertical signals to my brain which tells me that I’m looking down. It’s the mismatch of signals to what is being perceived that sends me in a spin
