Sometimes it’s hard to know exactly how to help autistic people in a practical way. It’s a difficult question, and because autism is a spectrum and all autistic people have different needs, you might think it’s too complicated that you don’t want to risk getting it wrong.

This video hopes to give you some advice for how different people can provide help and support: partners, friends, family, co-workers, peers, bosses and managers.

All of my ideas are just suggestions, there is no substitute for opening an honest dialogue with the autistic person in your life and learning more about autism in general.
