‘Employable Me’ – A Documentary series on Autism – Would you consider taking part? Find out more here

My name is Lea and I am a producer at Optomen Productions.

As you may already know, Optomen is an international production company behind the critically acclaimed show ‘Employable Me‘ on BBC, where extraordinary job-seekers aim to prove that having a neurological condition, such as Autism or Tourette’s, shouldn’t bar them from finding meaningful employment. We are now producing this series for the US audience on A&E. With the help of experts, these diverse candidates unlock their hidden talents and utilize their unique skill sets and strengths. The intention of our program is to highlight the abilities of these individuals, and hopefully to help them find employment opportunities that improve their quality of life. Here is a quick look at some of the best moments from the British series – http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0755nyq/clips

We’re looking for one more adult with Autism or Tourette’s who is currently NOT employed but looking for work. If this documentary seems like a good fit for someone you know, I’d love to chat further.

If you wish to take part please contact Lea at lea.furutani@optomenusa.com
