Person with autism? Autistic person? What is the best way of referring to somebody on the autism spectrum?
For the last few days my Twitter feed has been full of people talking what is the best term to refer to a person on the autism spectrum.
Autistic person?
Person with autism?
What is correct?

Agreed! I think asking the person which they prefer is the best strategy.
by their name firstly, and ask the person. each person differs and if it is necessary to refer to autism, ask how there prefer to talk about it.
