Are schools and government doing enough for the education of children on the autism spectrum?

A pretty complex question and I have to say all the staff in schools I’ve met over the years have been absolutely brilliant. Totally committed to their students.

But at the same time overall strategies cannot be described as “joined up”. Worse what students can be offered will vary from one place to another. Combined with a lack of flexibility in some quarters I do think things could be improved.
