A few years back I spent about ten minutes outside my son’s school gate.
The unit he was in had around a dozen student between 5-8. One thing I noticed today was the wide range of behaviours from the children. They varied from looking in the air at passing birds to a spot of dancing.
Autism was described to me , once , as a snowflake condition . That is each autistic person is soooooooo different with multiple facets to their autism. Our son has been diagnosed with classic autism but showed, as with around 30% of people with autism, showed signs of regression.
So I was really interested in other people’s diagnosis? It would be great if you could share your views using the poll below.
