Autism stimming can be looked at as a behaviour type within people with an autism spectrum disorder. This includes people with ADHD or Aspergers Syndrome, but stimming ADHD and stimming Aspergers are no different to that of autistic stimming

There are special stimming toys designed to help with this behaviour type, but lots of people enjoy stimming as it is a self soothing or self stimulation activity.

Other things can cause it like stimming anxiety, to name one. There is lots of behaviour type therapies that can help with autism and stimming, but lots of people enjoy it so they don’t feel the need to change how they are as that is their personality and their autism traits.
