This video explores music therapy as a treatment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Music is used to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of the person who has ASD. Treatment is provided through singing, dancing, listening or even creating music.

“Hi everyone! My name’s Iris, and I am so excited to share with this you all! I go to the Boston Arts Academy, and this is one of our requirements…to use your art and get connected with the community. I chose to work with MS patients, and MS activist, Wendy Booker, and the MS foundation to create this amazing musical experience. I was so grateful for this opportunity and I had so much the entire process! I am hoping to work with them all again. Hope you enjoy! I call it: “Music Speaks.””
