Heart warming talk by Biliana Savova – graphic designer diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) at 40, who in the years after receiving the hard news created the NGO “MS – Moga Sam” (meaning “I can do it alone” in Bulgarian). Life is not what happens to us, she claims, but how we react to it and what we do about it. A riveting talk about the role of personal responsibility, spirituality and the power to go on and help others. Graphic designer and art director for EVA magazine, founder of “MS – Moga Sam” Foundation, mother of two daughters. She shares what she has learned after being diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis: “When I walk slowly and mindfully, I actually go faster and reach further.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
