Electric shock is still used in the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center in Canton Massachusetts. The FDA gave themselves a deadline to review and hopefully end the practice once and for all, and many advocates hoped they were stop the practice by the close of 2019, but the end of the year came and went with silence. Today I discuss the fact that electric shock is still used as a form of “behavior modification” on disabled children and adults and why that must end now.
