A couple of days ago, sitting in my south London eyrie, I found myself listening to the radio.
One of the news items featured that day on the BBC was grave concerns about the value of the , now virtually compulsory ‘flu jab. Just out of passing interest the original flu shot was invented by one of my heroes Jonas Salk. You can read my tribute to this great name here.
Indeed the UK’s Daily Telegraph dgave the story the headline “Flu jab given to millions is useless.”
Which set me thinking. Firstly is the true? Or is it just the case for the UK and its rather rusty healthcare provision?
So I have set up a poll to find out the answer to the first question. To help with the second it would be great if you could use the comments section below to mention in which country you live and anything else you think might be of interest to our readers.
Many thanks in advance.
