Heat can be tough for people with a whole range of medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis and different types of arthritis.
We would like to take this opportunity to share this brilliant way of keeping cool during the heat. The idea originally, we are, told came from the US National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
This ice pack is both cheap and easy to make. And we can assure you work a treat!
Please pass on this blog post to anyone who needs to keep cool this Summer!
Ladies, I have also found a bodice chiller to be a life saver. Just fill the stainless steel test tube with ice and close it with a cork and place it between the breasts and it keeps your core cool. Once the ice melts, just refill it. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Songbirdsgoodies
great idea will try it out
Brilliant idea – I am soooooo heat sensitive so will use it. Today
(so far) looks like being an ‘OK’ day, so hubby and me are off for a
ride on our tandem. Can’t walk far but I can pedal for Britain.
Hopefully doing a 58 km tandem ride next week in Germany. For me there
will be no ‘pit stops’ but there will definitely be lots of ‘Pee’ stops. My ‘maillot jaune’ will be ‘let’s beat MS.
