The enigma that is multiple sclerosis (MS) takes away many pieces of life for the men and women who have it.
For unknown reasons, twice as many women as men have MS, leading me, a woman who’s lived with multiple sclerosis for 31 years, to wonder about the female experience of this disease.
After all, women’s lives are hard enough without MS throwing a monkey wrench into the works. But I know there are powerful women with MS all over the world, and I have found some in my own circles, as well, such as Jane and Nancy.
