  1. I have Rheumatoid, Lupus and sjogrens. I’m in a bad way at moment. Having a really bad all over Fare. Oral steroids don’t seem to be working. I look like having to get in touch with Rheumy. I’m on a biological Retuxan. I’ve been having the infusions 5 years. I take MTX and hydroxychloroquine.

  2. My condition seems menial compared to what I have just read below.  I have Lichen Planus, which is where my immune system works overtime and attacks my skin leaving plaques that don’t seem to fade.  I also have a mal-absorption problem with my pancreas and have had that for 15 years for which I have to take enzymes with food for my system to digest and absorb what I eat.

  3. Sjogrens, Raynauds, depending on the doc – MS and or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I don’t really care about a dx or label anymore – all the docs, tests, being in limbo wasn’t going to “fix” me. Just living life day to day as best I can, eating a healthy diet/supplementation, staying away from.meds.

  4. I have Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Hypothyroidism, insulin resistance polycystic ovary syndrome, and Asthma.

  5. Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia and I’m also BiPolar. I’m 69 and l feel so bad most of the time, but  I pray and have faith in God. I get up and don’t give up.

  6. Sjogren’s Syndrome, Graves Disease, Thyroiditis, Asthma (juries still out as to whether that’s auto-immune), Meniere’s Syndrome (autoimmune?), arthritis (R or Osteo?)…and Roseaca, Depression, PTSD…blah, blah, blah.  Will soon be having Autonomic testing.  But I love my life!

  7. Iam so sorry RandyRogers for all your misfortune…What you need is a good social security attorney to defend your case. They’ll collect for you from the day you had to stop working and only get 30% of what they collect. I did this and got over $6000.00 free and clear…didn’t even have to report as income at the end of the year (taxes) aside from this I instantly got Medicare…Look into it. Sure couldnt hurt…Best Wishes

  8. Hi,
In 2003  I was diagnosed with Churg Strauss Syndrome an apparently rare type of Vasculitus. 11 years down the line still taking medication every day and regular blood tests. No cure and now type 2 Diabetes (joy!) but I love life, still working part-time and being the eternal optimist planning my retirement holiday with my lovely wife. I’ve come along way since that day I was admitted to hospital when I was very scared and wondering what was going on but I had great consultants (5) now down to 2. I feel very blessed 4 kids 3 grandchildren.  Not everybody’s story might be as cheerful but it’s important to here the good stories as well as the tough stories. I wish anyone suffering to try to be positive take the negative out of the equation and begin to see the positives no matter how small they might seem. God Bless (as he has blessed me).

  9. I think I get it, just got back from a CT Scan of my ABD- Pelvis. To figure out what’s going on between my fibro and my crohns. Because I haven’t been to a Gastroentrologist in 10 yrs and that’s not good and I began to have problems. And he wanted to see what was going on before we did anything else plus I have to have a colonscopey on the 25th. Hopefully we don’t find anything serious as it’s been so long seen I’ve seen a doctor for this matter. and the scan is pretty cool cause I had contrast thru an iv too which went thru my kidneys, pancreas all my organs and then the contrast I drank went thru my digestive tract nasty stuff. but please don’t wait as long as I did for your check ups

  10. This said edit not sure what that means, as I’ve never done this before. States theres people listening, but I can’t hear anything so !!!

  11. Keli Panco,
I have Fibromyalgia, Crohns, Psoriasis ,Arthritis .All Autoimmune Diseases. Plus other health issues , as well. I was 1st diagnosed at the age of 23 with Crohns and I’m 50 now and just got diagnosed with Arthritis. I don’t know when or if this will ever, quit attacking my body !!

  12. I had to have my spleen removed, major open heart surgery, fibromyalgia, my red bloods cells being attacked so had to have 6 bags of blood every 2 days, diabetes, aurthritess, and now my government say I am fit for work so I am in a mess at the moment and in terrible pain, this all began because I had Cancer 4 times.

  13. I have primary Sjogren’s Syndrome, with small fiber neuropathy, gastroparesis, inflammatory arthritis, and possible autonomic neuropathy.
