Autism resources: Brushing Teeth for Autistic Children and Adults
Brushing the teeth of your child with autism can sometimes be a pain. As you well know, autistic kids can wiggle around, or bite the toothbrush. As your children with autism age and grow, this process can eventually become even harder. We should be trying to help our children be independent, and, if necessary, to do it yourself, we should be doing so efficiently and safely. This video can easily benefit a healthcare worker or a parent with an autistic child learn how to brush a large child’s teeth. Children with asd, or the autism spectrum disorder, need special care and help that we can give in an easier way if we know how. I wanted to do a sample video showing all health care providers, personal care workers, CNAs or daycares that have larger children with special needs. This is a simple DIY (do it yourself) video to help you brush your child’s teeth. We hope you enjoy all of our autism resources.
