2. Repeat When Needed: sometimes people with autism need sentences or speeches repeated several times before we are able to understand what it is one is trying to tell or communicate to us. Don’t be alarmed if you’re asked to repeat the sentence.

3. Use Images: A fantastic way to help communication in areas where there may be some difficulty is use images, using emojis is the new way of using drawing images that we would’ve done back before emojis was a universal language of images. Images are excellent for showing an autistic person a visual representation of the flow of communication because what is the people are visual thinkers.

4. Ask For Feedback: A good way to understand communication barriers and move forward with strategies is to ask for feedback from the person who is on the spectrum so they can tell you where you are doing things right and why are you doing things wrong this can help greatly improve your communication skills with an autistic person.

5. Explain The Detail: The proof is in the detail, what is that people love the fine detail in something because it paints the full picture with no ambiguity.
