I got this tattoo for my 2 daughters, one is a typical 15 yr old named Ashlyn,, my other daughter whos name is Amberlyn is 18 yrs old with severe Autism. I got this tattoo for 2 very special autistic children in my life. I am their bus driver and I’ve been driving them to school since 2005. They are both now in Middle School. The caterpillar represents them when I first started driving them at ages 3 and 5 years old. The butterfly represents as they are now….growing and learning. When they graduate, I will add a flying butterfly. =)

Here are two autism awareness ribbons that represent my son Lukas three years old and my daughter Ella that is two years old. They both have been diagnosed with autism. My son is verbal and daughter is non-verbal. It’s tough to be a stay at home dad or even when we just go to the store. I just wish people wouldn’t be so judgmental when we are out, It takes everything I have to not rip someone’s face off when they stare or make remarks about the way they act. Dad keeps his cool though.

Just got mine 2 weeks ago for my son. His name is Johnathon but we call him JP,I let him decide what one he wants from 3 different designs and I knew he would pick the train cause he LOVES his trains. This is by far the most amazing tat I have and I have about 20 of them.

Hi! My name is Marcy from Broken Bow, NE. Here is the tattoo I had done on Friday with my mom and sisters. It is the second line in a 4 line poem but I added the Autism symbol for my 6 year old son Zander! He is my youngest child but the light of my life. His on the high functioning end of the ADS but is still behind other children his age. His older sisters are his body guards and his dad and I his teachers. 🙂 I love my family!
