” M S and My Beautiful You” – A poem for Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week

Te Bigley shares “My wife has MS. I adore her strength. This is MS Awareness Month. I would be ever so grateful if I could share with you and your readers a poem I wrote about her and for her. I wrote this a couple of years ago. She is still determined to beat MS. Yes, she fights like a girl.”

How do you do
The things you do

To always remain
Beautiful You

5:30 am
and your already up
By 6:30 you’ve had
your 2nd
Cup

You wake the kids up out of bed
Make sure there ready for school
Even though
They seem
Like there dead

You play with Allie
And give her a bone
Then you proceed
to clean
our entire home

You haven’t had a second
To sit down
and relax
I wonder
the toll that it’s taking
On your legs
and your back

Now it’s 9am
You head back to our room
For the short time that you’ll take
to get dressed and
groom

Then it’s out the door
And
Off to work you go
Praying,
” It will be busy
and
not to slow.”

You come home
6 hours later
And the pains
setting in
Yet you never complain
When I ask
“how has your day been?”

You just charge
Right through our door….
With this
Electric energy
That somehow you’ve stored

You won’t
Sit on the couch
Or pull up a chair
There is not a minute to spare…..
You just
Head to the kitchen
There’s dinner
To prepare

An hour and a half later
We gather at the table

We say our prayers
before we feast
Can’t help but notice
How little
You always eat

Then there’s dishes to do
Afterwards
Wether your ready
Or not
It’s time to give yourself
another shot.

Soon after
We’re in bed
So you can rest
Your aching head
With a kiss
And another
good nite Darlin
So Blessed
To be said

And Your off fast asleep
Just thankful
To be back in bed

As I lay there
Cherishing
All that you do
I fall asleep,too
staring at

Beautiful You

For those seeking help. “Talk to me” Written By: Te Bigley

Talk to me

Talk to me

Te Bigley sent us this wonderful poem this morning. She says “Please post my poem. If it helps 1 person, then we have made a great start.”

Please do share it on!

“Talk to Me”

Who do you talk to

When all your feeling is pain

You need Somebody

Somebody that knows your name

You got the covers and the blanket

Pulled way up over your head

And

Pretty much
Your just wishing

Just wishing
you were dead

Anybody that’ll
listen

Anybody that’s felt your pain

Anybody that cares about you

Pretty sure we’ve all felt the same

Who do you talk to

When it seems
The world
is swallowing you whole

You’ve just gotta
talk to Somebody

You’ve just gotta heal your soul

Your on the heels of a nervous breakdown

And

Long gone are your days

Where you go out
on the town

I promise you

Those sheets won’t miss you

Keep lying in them
And
You just might drown

You’ve just gotta talk to Somebody

What you need
Is to feed your soul

Your facing the same old problems

Seems like
all your days are cold

You need to face your problems

But not

Your ways of the old

Wake up in the morning

Put on your Sundays best

Go to His house

Prepare as He operates on your chest

Join in the Celebration

Join in the Jubilee

Enjoy the awesome
sensation

As you fall
upon your knees

He is Who you talk to

He’ll heal all your pain

By the time
you leave His house

Your life
Won’t be the same.
