In this webinar session entitled “Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder through remote learning: Overcoming Challenges” our speaker will guide us on the different approaches to support students with Autism disorder.
Our guest speaker has been a special educator for the past 25 years. Early on, he spent eight years as a special educator/school psychologist and a program coordinator at a private special school in Las Pinas City, Philippines.
He eventually moved to the United States and worked for the New York City Department of Education as a Special Education Teacher. He has been with the public school system for the past 17 years. He earned undergraduate and Master’s degrees in psychology and special education, respectively. He also pursued an Advanced Post-Master’s Graduate Studies in Autism and Multiple Disabilities on a full scholarship at Pace University in Manhattan,New York City with focus on Autism Research.
