Ethan’s repetition seems to be getting worse at the moment. It comes in two forms, where he constantly repeats words and phrases that he hears from daily interactions with people and also from nursery rhyme shows on TV. The other form of repetition is more so Ethan looking for validation or recognition. This is something I will need to discuss with his speech therapist next week. It’s something that’s been on my mind recently, however since his teacher mentioned it to me at Wednesday’s IEP meeting and following our trip to the outdoor store, I’ve realised how much more intense it has become.
