Autism – What therapies have you used for youself or your child?

Autism is not a tragedy

Autism is not a tragedy

As you know there are a number of different therapies for autism available.

The purpose of this blog post is to find out which treatments and therapies or readers have used.

It would be great if you take the poll below.

But as importantly it would be great if you could use the comment boxes below to share your views about the effectiveness of the treatments you have used

Many thanks in advance

  1. I believe that once you get a diagnosis you are left to get on with thing.it has took seven years to get my son’s both diagnosed. And one of them we had to go private because the nhs let us down. There is not enough support or awareness for autism in the uk.

  2. I wish!! Just got diagnosed at 6yrs and left to get on with it. Iv asked for an occupational therapist appointment several times hes now 9 and a half and still no support from them 🙁

  3. My son Michael, he is 17 y.o already he still the same cant talk, does not do anything for him self, I feed him and bathe him. He still wears pull ups still. The school he goes to does not really teach him nothing all they did was complain and constantly got reported to CPS, but I still have not give up on my son because I love him so much he means the world to me.
