This week we’re looking into France’s attitude to a complex issue: autism. Around 1 in 100 children are diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders in France and the neuro-developmental condition is thought to affect around half a million people in the country. We take you to the NeuroSpin research centre, just outside of Paris, to better understand exactly what autism is and how to help patients.
